Surrounding pair

Expands the input to the nearest containing paired delimiters and their contents. Use the interior-only or exclude-interior modifiers to select only the contents or only the delimiters.

When an opening and closing delimiter use the same character and no parse-tree information is available, Cursorless treats the first occurrence on each line as an opening delimiter and alternates subsequent occurrences between closing and opening delimiters.

Cursorless ID: surroundingPair

Syntax

  • <pair> - Surrounding matching delimiter pair and its contents.

Examples

  • "take round blue air" - Selects the parentheses containing the token containing letter a with a blue hat.
